Welcome to Task 8 of Builders Corp. Series 2. This week we are testing your constructive/technical abilities. Your inspiration this week is GLASS. Using glass as the key component to your build; create something unique. This is open to interpretation, we want to see what you're able to do with little direction.
Good luck!

Welcome to the Finale of Builders Corp. Series 2. This is your last chance to show us you are deserving of being the winner of this competition. This task tests your creative compass and attention to detail.
Time is the element you're going to focus on. Create a build that shows how time has changed it. This will require you to make 2 rooms that will be edited on top of one another to show how it's changed.
For example, we used seasons changing above.
(Make sure to be strategic in your positioning and composition so the animated transition runs smoothly.)
Be as creative as you want. Below you will see just a few examples that we thought of to get you thinking. (You don't have to use them, you can create your own.)
- water damage
- fire damage
- plant overgrowth
- renovation
- infestation
- aging
Good luck!
MAX ROOM SIZE LIMIT:
8x10
Congratulations

On first glance this doesn't look that compelling. It does give you the impression of just another nature room. That impression completely changes once you zoom in and really look at the details spread around, especially on the human inhabited version. You used huge variation of greenery but they look cohesive and compelling. It's so much fun to look around and find all the hidden animals peeking through the foliage. The play on light and shadows on the ruined version is my favourite thing about this room. The structure of the buildings is compelling, The details are perfectly balanced with the room and the subtle effects you had between each room are a stroke of genius. I am glad we got to see your creations this season.
This is truly a work of art. You've exemplified how much effort it takes to create a storyboard within your builds. This is articulate, creative and masterful. The dainty additions incorporated so sporadically throughout the polluted version is stunning. There are so many details there, it took a very long time to absorb how much attention to detail you stacked in this creation. This is exactly what I was looking to see with this task. I love the use of light, the shadows are gorgeous. I definitely enjoy the polluted version more, the smoke/fog rising over the treetops, the unforgiving campsite. I really admire the passion you took in carefully constructing this final build. Thanks so much for a great season. You've been so consistent and showed us something unique and new in every single thing you did for us. You should be very proud of what you did in this competition. You have inspired me! I can't wait to see what you do to further your creativity. Brilliant work!

This is quite the dramatic room you got here. The building is really well made. There are some amazing details spread around and the organic texture on the walls is my favourite part of the room. The fire is dramatic, eye-catching and actually pretty. I really like the various intensities and textures on the flames. I do think the roof was a weird choice. I would have liked to see more damage done to the house maybe a section that got walled in I don't know. A strong idea with many variations on how this could have played out. It was a pleasure to have you in our game and see amazing creations each week.
I'm really amazed with the variety you've been able to show us in your builds this season. This is nothing less than a spectacular build. The different furniture lines is genius. I truly admire the stylistic approach to every aspect in this build. The decision to use fire damage as your approach to the task was very creatively sound. The fire furniture you used to portray this was very strong. The unconventional items stacked to create the glow was amazing! I find the roof to be distracting, however I get what you were trying to do. Had you been able to incorporate more to the 'change'; I think this could have scored higher in my book. Perhaps the roof being totally gone in the second sequence, revealing a burning room within. Something drastically different might have been a great contrast. Nevertheless, this is simply stunning and you showed us who you are as a builder. I am very thankful you ventured into this competition, you are so talented and your thought process is exceptional. It means nothing that you didn't win here today. You have showed the community that you can do anything. Everyone should be inspired by every single build you've created for this competition. I know I am!
Thanks so much!
